We have 8 locations currently in California and are still growing! We are searching for a Full-time Director of Weddings & Events to join our Crystal Springs (Burlingame) location.
This location performs over 100 weddings per year so if you are looking for a fun and active work environment this place is for you.
On the job sales, planning and coordination training will be provided so if you have the passion but may lack some of the experience do not hesitate to make contact.
Job Description:
Providing a consultative sales approach, allowing prospective clients the opportunity to plan a uniquely perfect day to meet their dreams Guide prospective brides on a property tour, answering questions and addressing concerns Write contracts and proposals following solicitation of customers to formally document oral agreements and terms.
Maintain communication with clients in-order to ensure that signed contracts, deposits and any other pertinent information is received and handled in a timely manner Available to work evenings and weekends in support of events hosted by Fairview Weddings & Events.
Candidate we are looking for will have:
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills A genuine interest in weddings and planning a unique wedding day Excellent oral and written communication skills Good knowledge about event management skills.
Has high computer literacy to use PC (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) We use Salesforce CRM software.
High organizational, supervisory and managerial skills Experience in a similar sales or service position preferred Strong planning and organizational skills to effectively coordinate and manage all size events.
Total Compensation:
$55,000 - $60,000 per year (estimated) $18-$20 per hour (2-5 hours of overtime per week) $8,000-$10,000 commission potential Pleas respond through the Indeed posting.
