Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Company Name:
North Star Staffing Solutions
Are you a CEO, President, or COO; are you an entrepreneur and leader that has culminated in the management of a successful, standalone medical device company? This career may be your next opportunity!
We are a clinical-stage, medical device company developing a unique platform to induce programmed cell death (apoptosis) in soft tissue non-thermally. Unlike traumatic injury or necrosis, by inducing apoptosis the body does not elicit a damaging inflammatory response and instead, repairs the treated tissue with normal tissue for the treated area. The applicable worldwide market, exceeds $15 billion, and targets multiple therapeutic applications, such as tumor/cyst/unwanted tissue ablation, and multiple cosmetic applications.
The company is a technology roll-up being created to acquire the operations and IP of three companies and from two universities, enabling the corporation a dominant IP position in this technology area. In addition, the principal scientists and inventors are equity holders and will be working with the company to help further the technology platform.
We are looking for a talented CEO to lead the company. Compensation will be driven by equity incentives and include a cash component in the range of $250-$300K per year. The companys research & development function will be based in Northern CA (Burlingame) while its headquarters location has not yet been determined.

He or she must be comfortable working at the technology-business interface, including academic research centers, clinical trial centers, multi-disciplinary teams.
