Position
Our client is looking for a Lead .Net Developer that will be a senior member of the technical staff who consults with business executives and information technology executive leadership in determining the strategic directions, major policy and directional technological plans of in support of current and future developments for the firm. The incumbent is accountable for the development of roadmaps to bridge the gap from current to future state for technology capabilities.
Primary Responsibilities
-Hands on leadership/management of one or more engineering teams at the workplace
-Write code for critical product components
-Lead teams in developing implementation architectures
-Working directly with product owners to create and refine user stories as part of the Agile/Scrum process.
-Work with scrum masters to ensure that onshore and offshore engineers remain productive
-Provides architectural guidance, direction, and oversight for Technology Lifecycle Management and project engineering groups. Executes the vision for MGI through technology investments. This includes ensuring architectural direction is aligned with business requirements and capabilities, Enterprise Reference Architecture, Computing Models, Patterns, Technology Platforms, Solution Platforms, Technology Lifecycle Management, Capacity Management, and Regulatory Initiatives.
-Serves as the highest level of escalation in troubleshooting difficult system problems involving highly interoperable systems, applications and components.
-Ensures that technology vendor and product selection adheres to MGI technology principles and standards.
-Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the business.
-Interacts with industry vendors to keep abreast of technology developments and to share business requirements and input on product designs.
-Recommends innovations that enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization

Job Requirements
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work experience.
-Masters preferred
-12
years of progressively responsible technology experience, with a minimum of three years in technology leadership role.
-Enterprise architecture experience in at least two IT disciplines (technical architecture, solution architecture, network management, application development, middleware design, information analysis, database management or operations management)
-3-5 Year Technology Strategies and Roadmaps
-UML Modeling of architectures PowerPoint, Visio, Word
-Extensive experience with .NET, and Microsoft stacks
-Development of technology usage guidelines, patterns, and designs based on functional requirements
-Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
-Experience with mobile a plus
-Experience with financial service applications and services a plus
-Professional Affiliations: IEEE, The OpenGroup or any other IT Industry Professional Continuous Improvement ProgramsApplication and Technology Architecture, Engineering, or Management
-Possess technical subject matter expertise in one or more technology domains such as network, storage, computing, middleware, database, systems management, security, end-user computing, etc.
-Development of technology usage guidelines, patterns, and designs based on functional requirements
