Data Security Supervisor

?Job DescriptionAcumen, LLC is a fast paced and rapidly growing research company devoted to providing government agencies with high-quality, impartial research on healthcare, labor practices, and welfare services to promote information-driven policies.?The Data Security Supervisor works as a part of the AcuSPHERE Data and Information Security (ADIS) Team responsible for protecting and securing the company?s data.? This position provides direct oversight of the day-to-day activities and overall processes of the Services division.Job Functions and Responsibilities:With minimal supervision, the Data Security Supervisor performs the following job functions:Project Management:?Leading projects to enhance the team?s capabilities and efficiencies, including managing and coordinating the development of custom applications with in-house developers and other stakeholdersAccess Administration:?Establishes and manages user access control polices/processes in accordance with government, business, and company data security policies and proceduresData Security Management and Enforcement:?Oversees data transfers between information systems, certifies appropriate data access, and enforces data security requirements applicable to the company?s data-related activities. Ensures that team is following procedures and performance standards are met, including security compliance requirements. Assisting with metrics reporting as required.Data Security Help Desk Supervision:?Resolving work orders as assigned. Elevate complex and/or high priority problems to the appropriate support groups for resolution. Supports internal customers? security-related requests or inquiries.? Serves as a point of escalation for requests as well as help prioritize day to day tasks.? Fosters client relationships through timely response, service that meets their needs, and candid feedback on issues and recommendations.Incident Response Initial Investigation:?Serves as first responder to detected or reported security incidents, and executes incident response procedures in the event of a potential data security breach; supports the incident investigation activities of the company?s Incident Response TeamTraining and Support:?Promotes security awareness in the environment of everyday work via corporate newsletters, annual training, and other creative methods; provides support and guidance to employees with security concernsDocumentation:?Guides the development of information security policies, processes, and procedures, using security best practices, compliance requirements, and contractual obligationsCollaboration:?Informs other team members of work status and coordinates division of tasks; may manage a project and/or junior employeesRequired SkillsQualifications Required:Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, security, compliance, or related field?or?commensurate experienceA minimum of 3 years? experience working in a related roleProactively manage projects to enhance company security procedures and protocols, including automation to increase efficiencyEffectively manage and coordinate projects from design and implementation to production with stakeholders, and adjust resources and priorities accordinglyProficient with the data security principles and enforce data security protocolsAdept at prioritizing tasks, exercising sound judgment, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAn ability to thrive in both team and self-managed environmentsAn ability to proactively communicate the status of ongoing projects to a range of stakeholdersExpert at prioritizing tasks, exercising sound judgment, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience with Active Directory ACLs, application role management, help desk system management and metric reporting,Interest in health and social policyQualifications Desired:An ability to thrive in both team and self-managed environmentsAn ability to proactively communicate the status of ongoing projects to a range of stakeholdersExpert at prioritizing tasks, exercising sound judgment, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience with Active Directory ACLs, application role management, help desk system management and metric reporting,Interest in health and social policySalary: Competitive, commensurate with experience. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
